Helen and Gordon’s Whitsunday Winter Wedding

Being from Melbourne, Helen and Gordon would never dream of having a winter wedding down south. But escaping the cold and holding an intimate wedding in the Whitsundays, in winter, was just the ticket. With an average winter temperature of 24-26 degrees, these Melbournites revelled in all the Whitsundays has to offer.

Living in Victoria and at the start of winter, who wouldn’t want to holiday to the Whitsundays? Bec and James’ wedding guests felt the same way as a whopping 74 made the trip up to Airlie Beach for a destination wedding week. Swimming at the resort pool or down at the Lagoon, wining and dining around town and a beach bbq were just a few of the activities for guests pre and post wedding.

The reception was decorated with fairy lights, flowers and bunting with sweet soul music playing in the background, it was perfect!
